Site information / Terms of use

Terms: Term

Use this notebook to learn and experiment responsibly. Reading a lesson does not provide a license to someone else’s recording.

Using the website

These terms describe use of samplscenpickmosac.mom’s educational pages and local contact-draft tool. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation or use its contact address for unlawful, abusive or deceptive messages. If you do not agree with these conditions, stop using the site.

Educational scope

The lessons provide general information about sample-based music production. They are not legal advice, professional clearance opinions, individualized technical support or a guarantee of creative or commercial results. Software features, licenses and legal requirements can change. Consult current documentation and qualified professionals where appropriate.

Patterns, diagrams and workflow examples are teaching aids. The diagrams do not play audio. Adjust practices to your equipment and circumstances, monitor at safe levels and back up projects before destructive edits.

Sample rights remain your responsibility

You are responsible for identifying and obtaining the rights and permissions required for your recordings, compositions, samples and releases. A short duration, changed pitch, new arrangement or heavily processed sound does not automatically remove rights obligations. Permissions relating to a recording and an underlying composition may be separate.

No audio sample license, release clearance or permission to use a named artist’s work is granted by this site. References to Creative Commons or public-domain material are not warranties about a particular source. Verify the actual work, license, rights holder and relevant jurisdiction.

Site content and third-party names

Site text, diagrams and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law unless otherwise stated. You may read the pages, link to them and use the general techniques in your own music. This does not grant permission to republish the site’s articles or imagery wholesale. Statutory quotation and other lawful-use rights remain unaffected.

Third-party photographs and other assets may carry separate rights. Product names, artist names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. References are informational and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. This site is not affiliated with any DAW or equipment manufacturer.

Contact-draft tool

The tool formats text locally for copying or downloading. It does not send messages, create an account, verify a reply address or guarantee delivery. You decide whether to send the draft through your own email service. Check the contents and recipient before sending, and do not include material you lack permission to share.

No reply time, individual review or ongoing support relationship is promised. Sending correspondence does not transfer ownership of your music to the site and does not authorize public publication of your work.

Availability and limitations

Reasonable care is taken with the material, but the site may contain errors or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular purpose or a specific production outcome. Keep your own backups and independently verify decisions that affect a release.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Updates and questions

The published terms may change as the site develops. Review the current version when using new functionality. For questions or a correction, contact [email protected]. Information handling is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
